Biography

Matthew Ramsey was appointed as a director of Energy Transfer LP (ET) in July 2012. Mr. Ramsey previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Energy Transfer Operating, L.P. from November 2015 until April 2021, as Chief Operating Officer of ET from October 2018 until his retirement in April 2022. He is also a director of Sunoco LP, serving as chairman of Sunoco LP’s board since April 2015.

Mr. Ramsey has served as a director of USA Compression Partners, LP (NYSE: USAC) since April 2018. Mr. Ramsey previously served as President of RPM Exploration, Ltd. He previously served as a director of RSP Permian, Inc. where he served as chairman of the compensation committee and as a member of the audit committee. Mr. Ramsey formerly served as President of DDD Energy, Inc. until its sale in 2002. From 1996 to 2000, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of OEC Compression Corporation, Inc. Previously, Mr. Ramsey served as Vice President of Nuevo Energy Company, an independent energy company. Additionally, he was employed by Torch Energy Advisors, Inc., a company providing management and operations services to energy companies including Nuevo Energy, last serving as Executive Vice President.
